It has been a very dull month here on the Ipswich waterfront. Nothing new has appeared and I can only talk about Suntis and the local boats so many times. Hence, it has been a good while since I posted anything.
At last, a boat appeared that we hadn’t seen before and was she a good one. She is the Dutch boat, Swaensborgh – a 47 metre long three masted schooner that was built in 1907 and spent her time shifting freight around the Baltic. Now, she spends her time providing sailing experience to groups who learn to sail and handle the ship. More details can be gathered from her comprehensive web site.
